I believe that every student has a right to an education filled with opportunities and challenges.  They deserve a rich, meaning-centered, thinking curriculum.  I believe that instructional practices need to be modified to meet the differing needs of students which will enable them to achieve to their highest potential.  I believe that high level of student achievement goes beyond factual knowledge and skills.  Students’ activities need to draw them to higher levels of critical thinking.  Schools are a place that can provide students with choices and interaction with others.  Schools are a place where the impossible can become possible through a non-threatening, God-centered, caring environment.  Students deserve a sense of security and a sense of belonging.  By feeling good about themselves, students get along better with others, and they are more successful academically.
